Galerie Duret is pleased to announce its exhibition Géométrie Débridée for the first solo show of Nicolas Dubreuille in its Parisian space. Nicolas Dubreuille is a multidisciplinary artist who works in several mediums such as painter, sculpture, drawing & photography. Committed, the artist expresses himself through a formal, pictorial and linear language to create a composition independent of the relation to the visual references existing in the sensitive world. He thus materializes his ideas & his representations through the aesthetic accumulation of shapes and colors . Nicolas Dubreuille uses a very wide chromatic field and geometric shapes that are sometimes angular, almost masculine in his paintings, sometimes round and soft in these sculptures. The references and the recognizable disappear in favor of visible effects, geometric shapes, clean or abundant lines, unique or mixed colors.
