Argentina  • 1983

Presentation

Diego Roa was born in 1983 in Puerto San Julián, Santa Cruz.

His studio is located in the city of Buenos Aires and he teaches in the architecture department at the University of Buenos Aires.

His compositional methods demonstrate a language based on anatomy and its symbolism. He creates works in various formats and techniques such as painting, illustration, murals, urban art, new artistic media, among others.

He is the protagonist of a popular mystery that occurred in Buenos Aires in 2009, with the appearance of more than six thousand children's faces painted in blue lines, scattered around the city without an author's signature. This conceptual intervention in public space led to the search for its creator by art galleries and the media, marking the recognition of his work on a global level.

He has created numerous exhibitions and murals in Buenos Aires, New York, Miami, Barcelona, Paris, Bogota, Tokyo, Berlin, Dubai, and other cities.
