Biography
Member of the artistic community of Papunya but living most often in Kiwirrkura, Yalti Napangati belongs to the group of Pintupi who were driven from their ancestral lands during colonization and had been grouped together in the settlement centers of the central desert, which is why they lived for a long time in the region of Papunya where contemporary aboriginal painting was born in the 1970s.
