Nathalie Bergiers (NAT)

After studying at Saint-Luc Brussels and six years of painting at the Braine l'Alleud academy, I was challenged by writing, lines, traces, so I started studying graphology. The line, the writing, the body, the drawing, the painting, the dance and the sound are languages which present to us their secrets, their symbols since the dawn of time. 

Spirituality, mythology, dreamlike or meditative activity calls out to me and I crystallize a moment that is offered to me in space-time. A form of active meditation appears. India ink feeds my research, my work which questions the vibration of blacks and whites, and all the dilutions that result from it. 

The poetry between shadow and light makes my line dance, vibrate through my own sensitivity. In contrast, the work with pure pigments awakens in me the sacred allegory of the primordial emergence of life that I feel intuitively. Inhabited by a voluntary consciousness or by a spontaneous unconscious, I drown in the immensity of his paintings.
