Gérard Liebenguth is a graphic designer painter from Houyetois (Belgium).

He was born in Brussels in 1950 and studied art at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels.

Fascinated by language and the impact that shapes, aesthetics and colors can have on people, it was only natural that he turned to a freelance advertising career.

Evolving within several advertising agencies where he puts his art and his marketing approach in the spotlight, he will then become a sales representative in the construction industry. Like the metaphor of a chrysalis, this sensitive artist has never extinguished his passion for graphic arts ...

Each canvas is the expression of this geometric approach associated with the different tests that have enamelled his life as a man and citizen of the world.

Because if the constants are reflected in each of his paintings, it is a different language which is expressed there for the pleasure of our senses seduced and questioning.
