Fabienne de Preux

Fabienne de Preux was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, in 1985, from a Swiss father and a Bolivian mother. She learned from an early age to observe and value the cultural richness of her surroundings and was exposed to art and creativity through art lessons as well as through her willingness and motivation to teach herself. Her sensibility and attention to detail is what allows her to connect with the essence of things. Her works are characterized by intense and vivid colors. 

She defines her style as a fusion between realism and abstraction. She paints what she observes around her. A nature lover, she often finds inspiration in the colorful landscapes she visits. Travel is a recurrent theme in her work, as she considers life a continued journey by which we all go through.
