Flávia Bomfim is a visual artist and embroiderer.
In 2013, she attended an artistic residency at Scuola internazionale d'Illustrazione in Sàrmede/Italy, in 2015 at the print making studio of Joelle Jolivet in Paris/Prance, in 2016 at the Museo Textil in Oaxaca/Mexico, and in 2018 she organized an independent publication fair while at the ocupied centre L'Asilo in Napoli/Italy. In 2019 Flávia went around Italy (Parma, Napoli, Macerata and Bologna) with the textile art exhibitions RIVOLTI and Bordar os Sonhos, doing workshops and talks about the projects histories and its lenguages.
