Harold García V is a Cuban artist based in New York. He graduated from the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts in Havana in 2004. García has an active practice as a visual artist. In recent years he has developed a pictorial work focused on The Everglades (one of the most important ecosystems on the planet located in South Florida) and its ecological disintegration driven by human greed and economic interests.
His works have been exhibited in Miami, Italy, AMA Museum, Washington DC, in Austria as guest artist of the KulturKontakt Residency where he also held a workshop called Mediators Marking Experiences.
Harold currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
