Darien Varona

Originally from a small municipality in Eastern Cuba, Darien moved to the capital of his province in the hopes of bringing his creativity to a larger audience, where he studied Sculpture and fine arts at the University of Enseñansa Superior.

After nine years of working as a graphics designer, Darien relocated to Havana to focus full-time on his arts and creative pursuits. By working in Cuba's artistic capital, he immersed himself in the thriving art scene and quickly became a recognizable artist throughout the cultural movement'.

Darien has always been fascinated by Pop Art and draws inspiration from the female form and aesthetic beauty. He loves all curves. Combining pop art with the human condition, he tries to express social injustices, daily life, and the beauty in all things great and small.  

Darien's work is in private collections in the UK, France, Canada, Spain, the U.A.E., and Australia and is currently represented by Graffik Gallery in London and Kulture Cartel and Addictive Art House in the U.S.
