Presentation

Born in Belgian Congo in 1960, KM has traveled a lot and has managed to get some rest. In Stockholm, New York, Paris, New York again, Nîmes and finally in Paris.A journey, which allowed her to carry out her research on the mutual influences between the real and the human. As one would call "worldliness"!

KM studied so much that she became a professor to impart her knowledge which seemed important to her. But tired of wondering, observing, analyzing, KM finally threw herself in the arms of creation, which seemed stable enough to find her balance. There she goes! The word is finally out, creation! And what if KM had found an understandable translation of the real, a personal analysis that she wants to share? KM gives meaning to what surrounds and lives around her through her photos, mind and eye.

For her first opus, she got interested in the looks of unknown people who she met in cultural venues. The look of a human being while he looked at an image. A social-cultural fact. A story of many different looks with varied interests. Origin, definition of an eye's sociology or how to "show the force of the world's representation of the being human".

"In my photos, I wanted rhythm and the notion of time flying by, or just standing still. A break before, before what? A flow, an ebb, a crescendo or an explosion, an advancement or a return, linear time where thousands of circular little times wandered aroudn or the opposite, a more philosophical or circular time, like Tao, as it's is flexible and allows some extension. The shapes quiver and stretch out. Hollow and heights recovering depth, or on the contrary, lying flat. Sometimes stiffness liquifies, an incongruous green invents itself or when lifeblood comes right out from the dark red earth sea. In this water, black causes an irresistible attraction and the whites amaze through their turbulence and volcanic shaped transparency.
