Laurent is a dreamer, a sensitive artist in search of aesthetics. Laurent devotes 90% of his photographic production to snapshots. Drawing on his experience with Polaroid films, he has developed a varied universe that oscillates between intimacy, minimalism and wandering, themes that lend themselves magnificently to this "pola" medium. Beyond his favorite themes, for Laurent these are the light, composition and framing that he likes so well that he constantly challenges himself to create his photos as one creates a painting. Each photo must be sufficient in itself. Laurent is in perpetual search for new methods and techniques of manipulations of photographic emulsions to satisfy their creative and sharing needs.
