Do Delaunay is a French visual artist and painter, born in 1954. After studying physics, he obtained his NVQ in carpentry. After his studies, he taught physics-chemistry, mathematics but also worked as a photo-journalist simultaneously for the Ouest-France editorial board, then as a cinema critic for Radio France, Pays de Loire. Self-taught, he began painting during his several trips to Quebec between 1981 and 1984.
His artistic practice went from painting to sculpture, land art to instillation, and was constantly renewed. In his works, the primitive aspects are combined with contemporary influences, poetic works which try to pass on the message of fragile beauty to the world.
