Emmanuelle Rosso

Emmanuelle Rosso was born in 1985. She lives and works since 2017 in Belle île en mer.

Emmanuelle Rosso obtained her National Diploma of Plastic Arts with the congratulations of the Jury in 2015 (ENSA, Limoges) and studied theater and participated in numerous workshops, notably with Jacques Roubaud and Charlemagne Palestine (École Ema Fructidor, Chalon sur Saône) .

His work has recently been exhibited at the Salon de Montrouge, (Paris), at the International Center for Art and Landscape (Island of Vassivière), at La MECA, FRAC-Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Bordeaux), at the Attrape-couleurs ( Lyon), at the Galerie des Marches (Aubusson) and at the XI M'Zora Multicultural Meetings on the archaeological site of Lixus and Cromlech, Larache, (Morocco). Some of her works joined the collections of the Frac-artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine, FACLIM collection in 2017. In 2020, she co-founded with Cécile Lacouture the independent publishing house Sgraffito Edition. 2022, The residency at the Albert Gleizes/Moly Sabata Foundation (Sablons) gives rise to a personal exhibition at the MAC in (Pérouges) then two collective exhibitions at the Galerie Besson (Lyon).

Emmanuelle Rosso's dynamic approach constantly imagines an intimate crossing: that of the singular to the collective, at the fragile threshold of origin and end. His work is then offered like an open-air diary in which beings and things are inherent in the passage of fire, rain, wind or even silence.

She paints as one digs up a memory box. Playing on relationships of scale, from the intimate to the monumental, his paintings borrow as much from the liveliness of the diary as from the obsolescence of found objects. Through its various bivouacs, it is interested in the ways of investing, of inhabiting a space physically or symbolically. Painting becomes the place where memories crystallize. The works testify to these crossings over the days where flowers, visions, landscapes burst.
