Born in La Ciotat in 1974, Michel Eisenlohr has been an author-photographer since 2002. Lulled by travel literature, he made his first images in Dogon country, then continued his reporting in France and abroad.
His photographic approach, like a story, aims to capture the spirit of towns, the memory of places and to transcribe the relationships between people and their beliefs. His approach is resolutely literary and poetic, leaving plenty of room for the viewer's imagination.
