Biography
Five years ago, Vincent Marshall left his career as a musician and producer to devote himself to painting. This new beginning was born from a spontaneous gesture: giving a small painting to his wife, his lifelong muse. The enthusiasm of his son, and then that of a Geneva gallery owner, launched his artistic career. His success was rapid, particularly in Geneva, Paris, and Saint-Ouen. Self-taught, he paints without preparation, in an hour or less, in a spontaneous style that evokes music. Today, his work falls somewhere between urban art and neo-expressionism, and he finds in painting a freedom of expression he didn't experience in music. His style, praised for its energy and vitality, uses gestures, splashes, layering, and bright colors, bringing a raw and positive emotional dimension to his works.
