Carol On the roof

Born in 1973 in Aix-en-Provence, after studying to be a dance teacher, she spent 15 years traveling the world, visiting Asia, Africa, Portugal and finally Madagascar.

She collaborated with numerous artists, craftspeople and choreographers.

In 2010, she returns to France, her family enlarged, back to the south, to Avignon and then to her beloved hometown.

Drawing and painting have never left her. Her travels and encounters have nourished her work.

She defines her work as a succession of experiences, exploring and bringing emotions to life on canvas. Her aim is to touch hearts, to sublimate human beings, showing their joy, anger, sadness, fear or fragility.

She'll be turning to sculpture in 2020, with a new approach to 3D bodies enriching her work. The first bronze castings fascinate her and, as if by magic, make her subjects immortal!
