Presentation

He likes to paint the human and especially the faces. He likes to make their complexity on a canas, making them explicit or unfathomable, seductive or disturbing. In his work he likes to travel on both sides of the same border that separates the figurative world from the abstract universe. Eric starts from a structured and figurative base respecting the classical proportions of the human face, which, in contact with painting, sets out towards abstraction combining matter and color.

Each painting is the result of a long journey. From the original idea to the last brushstroke, he can feel doubt, pleasure, energy, combativeness, obsession.
