Coralie Salaun was born in 1986 in Lannion, she currently lives and works in Rennes. She quickly turned towards photographic staging to reveal her surreal and poetic universe. Between 2016 and 2017, she produced two photographic series in a remand center with groups of inmates. All the artifices of the staging make it possible to circumvent the law prohibiting the recognition of the faces of these men. The staging serves both to hide and to reveal, to enhance, to sublimate. To find humanity too. His work was presented the same year in the program Voir Voir on France Inter and published in Médiapart and La Lettre International in Berlin. Resident at Villa Perochon in 2009, she posed - and posed for - the photographer Arno Rafel Minkkinen. Very committed to the defense of human rights and in particular of children, she produced for 3 years the photographic primer "the damned children" inspired by the American illustrator Edward Gorey and collaborates with personalities committed to non-violence.
