Christelle Link

Born in Obernai in Alsace in 1976, Christelle Link has been passionate about art since childhood. She lives and works in Ardèche. After studying marketing, she made a career in commerce and communication, then in project management in a large group. In 2014 Christelle Link realizes her dream of art and devotes her life to painting. Self-taught, his artistic references are Picasso, Matisse, Dali, Basquiat, Labégorre, street art and singular art. The creative process is born from his sensitivity to everyday images and his imagination spontaneously constructs the work. Christelle Link works in acrylic and mixed media. Enthusiastic about life, Christelle Link paints to create human exchanges by sharing images and emotions of happiness. Painting is his communication tool. After having explored figurative animal themes, and particularly Gorillas, Christelle created an imaginary character half gorilla and half human, "Picagorillas", which is the medium of expression of our contemporary scenes of life and of our emotions. His colorful imaginary characters “Picagorillas” offer a universal message of joy, love and peace.
