Presentation
Alexandra Battezzati is a French painter, born in 1980, she lives and works in Nice.
Her paintings are a splendid portrayal of nature, a strong and simple presence, without any artifice. These waves break and reveal the strength of elements and colored and shiny stones, which are like an ode to light.
Light is the main theme of her paintings, glittering and modeling the relief or the barks, piercing the skies through the clouds, caressing the trees, their roots up to their branches and the changing reflections of water. The color is highlighted through black and gray shadow, with a blazing sunrise and a feeling of warmth that surrounds us all.
