Isabelle Pelletane was born in 1969 close to Paris. She lives and works in Poitiers. After studying Psychology and one year at the Beaux-Arts School, she pursued her practice as a salf-taught artist. Her works are inspired by her travels and the time spent in Spain and Martinique.
Isabelle Pelletane's painting is born out of her desire to understand life and people in their natural environment. She translates in her paintings vital energies, using color and liquid médiums, creating works that are full of life and references to the organic world. She balances between interior and exterior landscapes, creating an imaginary universe that transcends everyday life. Isabelle Pelletane delivers an optimistic vision of life, showing us the silver linings.
