Presentation

Born in 1984 near Paris, Jeff Le Cardiet spent his first years on the island of Grande Comore. From a family mix, what was at times a feeling of non-belonging has become a feeling of cultural richness, with, on one side, the culture of the islands of Madagascar and Comoros, and on the other side, the Western culture of France.

His family returned to Europe at the end of the 90s, he is six years old. They settled in the south of France near Avignon. Jeff then studied management in Montreal where he spent five years of his life.

Not really satisfied in this area, he tries to thrive differently. The image and the photography have never been far from him. An artistic part, a sleeping curiosity that finally woke up around his thirties. The idea of becoming a professional photographer rose in 2016 during a personal quest in Ethiopia. After several learning modules at Gobelins (Paris), Louis Lumière and ENSP Arles, Jeff seeks to apply his skills, confront himself to the unexpected, exchange on the ground, then capture the moment to share his eye and his experiences.
