French artists

Florence Dussuyer is a French artist born in 1978, who lives and works in Rhône. She studied applied arts in Lyon and plastic arts in Saint Etienne and then did an internship at the School of Fine Arts of Hô-Chi-Minh. The time she lived in Vietnam has deeply influence her work and that reflects in her paintings, specially by her use of light, creating pretty steamy scenes, sliding very soft materials and mostly cold colors. Even if the composition of her paintings reflects the obvious influence of her time in Hô-Chi-Minh, specially by her way of representing women in lascivious positions, she recently started adding more details to her paintings and using warmer colors trying to create surprising chromatic relations. Her work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Liege, Belgium and Paris, France among others, as well as at contemporary art fairs such as St-Art Strasbourg in 2016, Art Up Rouen and Art Up Lille the same year.
