Presentation

Diver, from a family of divers, the sea naturally imposed itself on me as a source of inspiration for my creations. The imagination, the world, the dream, the taste for experimentation, chance ... enrich, question, challenge my creative approach. For the collection "I'm taking my boat" I wanted to impose a form: the boat and then let my hands decide the direction. I let go of the moorings and I let the world come to me. The first meeting was "the balancing act".

Instant suspended in the open sea. Perfect moment. Unless ... The hull is not in good condition. We are off Libya. Where are the occupants? The second meeting took place in international waters. Sailors and Filipinos had been at sea for months and somehow patching up their boat ... for a few dollars.

My imagination is expressed through the earth. The different techniques echo it. Polished and smoky to express the elapsed time combined with raku and collage. With a rust patina for the tightrope walker. Reduced raku cooking to evoke the darting sun on the hull of a boat.
