Lallement Martine

My pictorial work is above all that of a material that vibrates, that reveals, transmits emotion and that sublimates the form. It is a work on movement, on its lines of force and its dynamics, on the emotions that it induces.

My approach is also based on the play and harmony of colors because I want to show the beauty, the harmony, the comfort, the positive, in short the refuge that a canvas can provide.

As my works are essentially abstract, composed of geometric shapes and chromatic contrasts, they leave a vast freedom to the viewer. They do not impose anything on the eye and offer an almost infinite range of interpretation.

A self-taught painter, I returned to this passion at the dawn of the 2000s with training in an association to improve my technique, experience the adventure of the first exhibitions and have wonderful encounters with the public.

Currently, I use acrylic and mixed media. Above all, I follow my heart, my intuition, my desires. I juggle with mediums, tools... to create textured paintings that meet my need for beauty, serenity and comfort.

- Artistic merit for participation in the Luxembrourg Art Prize 2021 and 2022
