André Bourrié is an official painter of the Navy since 1983. Self-taught, he obtained a ceramist diploma. He was promoted to director of a workshop. During all this time, his desire to devote himself entirely to painting was very strong. Before leaving the profession, he took up the very demanding challenge of winning the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France". With a project to which he devoted more than 500 hours, he won the silver medal. work of art at the town hall of Vauhallan.He has exhibited since 1960 at various Parisian salons (Gold medal at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1978, Grand Prix de Barbizon etc).
