Born in Creil in 1986. Drawing and graffiti have fascinated Z2086 since his childhood. And it is during a long convalescence following an accident that art takes a privileged place by allowing it to regain the mobility of its arm thanks to the practice of drawing and painting. Subsequently, his career will lead him to rub shoulders with the IT world and actively engage in the sphere of electronic music.

It is by bridging these two cultures that he has over the years been able to bring a unique graphic design to his works and develop his own universe imbued with technology and modernity. During his apprenticeship as a graphic designer and scenographer, he broadened his field of artistic investigation through geometry and a dynamic color palette. During this period Cubism and Pop Art therefore strongly influence his constantly evolving style.

In Laurent Le Doaré's work - Z2086, the line holds a central place. The lines resemble electronic printed circuits, the sharp black lines intertwine to give life to robotic subjects, the dark lines contrasted by colors of great intensity accentuate the expression of these faces.

It is thanks to these intense contrasts that the dark electric and robotic part finds its balance.

The artist works in mixed media, from acrylic spray to charcoal. Always in search of intensity, traversing the environments of the night, he finds in the ultraviolet and the fluorescent an exploitable potential, tools which allow him to give other dimensions to his works, day and night.z2086.com
