Patrick Néel, born in Normandy in 1953, member of the Norman independent artists, began very early to draw and design.
Before turning to sculpture, he created his art ironwork business in Ste Croix sur Buchy where he practiced for 24 years after obtaining the prestigious title of Master Craftsman in craftsmanship. At the same time, he teaches ironwork at the AFPA in Le Havre.
He likes to create freely and finds his inspiration in nature, space and the sea which nourish his research on the representation of movement. He thus interprets, by adding or removing material, abstract, sinuous and refined works.
