Joe Big Big

Born in 1961 in Ghana, Joe Big Big is a visual artist who realizes metal sculptures representing scenes of the everyday life, the animals, the sportsmen at the heart of the action. Of his real name Joseph Adjzobah Ghattaba, he begins by realizing very young of monumental sculptures in clay - where from his nickname " Big-Big " - before favoring the wire and the wire nettings. Trained to the School of Fine Arts of Kumasi he is a graduate WAEC (West African Examinations Council). He makes a long-term stay in Niger, exhibit in several French cities before becoming established in Toulouse, then to Moissy-Cramayel ( Seine et Marne). Married, he is also a father.
