Artist Statement: "My journey as an artist has been a quest to impart a visual language to the varied influences and interactions that have left a mark on my mind. Having worked closely with traditional textile craftspeople across India, the heart has always appreciated the labor of love. The visual language of this art reflects many world cultures. The fabrics have echoes of many age-old resist dye techniques, including shibori from Japan, bandhej from India, and adire' from Nigeria. The patterns are planned and the colors require precise chemistry. Yet, each step adds complexity making the end result is often unpredictable."

Select Exhibitions and Collections: Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, India (New Traditions: Inspirations & Influences in Indian Textiles, 1947-2017); Gallery Art & Aesthetics, New Delhi, India (Little Infinity); International Contemporary Furniture Fair, New York, New York, US; Gallery Art Motif, New Delhi, India (The Art of Shibori); 10th International Shibori Symposium, Oaxaca, Mexico; Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India (Shünya); Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Ontario, Canada (World of Threads Festival); Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, Latvia (III International Textile Art Symposium); Apparao Galleries, New Delhi, India (Nayaab); Devi Art Foundation, Gurgaon, India (Fracture); Craft Council of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, India (Kausalyam); Dastkar, New Delhi (Festival of Lights); India International Centre, New Delhi (Amoolya).
