Enne Boi was born in 1989 in Cantù, Italy. After getting his diploma at Liceo Artistico Amedeo Modigliani of Giussano, in 2008 he enrolled at the Painting and Visual Arts course of Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), in Milan.
There he received a multimedia education and attended the classes of Claudio Olivieri, Marcello Maloberti and Yuri Ancarani, amongst the other teachers. In 2010 he studied one semester at the Willem de Kooning Academie (WdKA) of Rotterdam as an exchange student; during this period he worked as an assistent for the Dutch artist Dirk Van Lieshout.
In 2011 he got a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts cum laude at NABA and from then on he worked full-time for two years with Collettivo F84, an art collective he cofounded in 2010 together with five Italian artists: Nicolò Bruno, Gianluca Craca, Giulia Serafini and Cecilia Valagussa. In 2013 Enne Boi moved to Belgium and enrolled as a master student in Fine Arts at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten (KASK) of Gent; there he was mentored by Narcisse Tordoir and Hans Theys, and in 2014 he succesfully got a Master degree in Fine Arts with honors.
During the KASK graduation he was awarded with the 1st Prize of the Stitching René Bruynseraede – De Witte voor Multimediale Vormgeving. Since then he lives and works in Gent, developing a personal practice which combines painting with several media such as drawing, sculpture, printmaking and publishing.
