Karin Monschauer

Karin Monschauer gets worlds full of shapes and colors with computer graphics software. Her Digital Art creates abstractions of infinite interpretations. The embroidery technique has always fascinated the artist, allowing to internalize the connection and the interweaving of colors and shapes. This methodology, in Arabic raqm, allows to create an ornament design on a fabric through the use of one or more threads of different colors. Thanks to the manual skills learned, through art design programs, she plans abstractions rich in geometric evolutions connected in tonal ranges, between hot and cold areas.

Monschauer proposes visual languages characterized by pure fantasy, explicitly referring to the nature and textures of skilled ancient and modern masters. Karin digitally paints undefined tracks that every human being interprets and follows.

Currently her art production is permanently present at the European Art Museum, Frederiksvaerk Denmark, with a work and at the Le Bois Du Cazier Museum, Charleroi Belgium, with four works.
