Engraver, painter. Born October 4, 1842 in Le Locle, died November 19, 1926 in Vevey.

After a few years spent in Geneva, he taught drawing in Le Locle, then in Vevey from 1892.

A painter enjoying a certain popularity, Huguenin-Lassanguette illustrated numerous works, notably Le canton de Neuchâtel or, in collaboration with J. Weber, L'Europe illustrée by Auguste Bachelin.

Landscape painter and illustrator. Father of Paul Huguenin-Virchaux.
