Noa Charuvi was born in Jerusalem, Israel. She lives and works in New York.


In 2005, Noa obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, then in 2009, a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She participates in many artist programs and residencies such as the Omi International Artist Residency, the AIM Program at the Bronx Museum, the Yaddo Artist in Saratoga Srings in New York State, at the Triangle Arts Workshop in Brooklyn and at the Lower East Side Printshop still in New York.


His work is exhibited internationally, in places such as the Wave Hill Center in New York, the Bronx Museum and the Haifa Art Museum in Israel. She is currently part of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts studio program in Manhattan.


Noa Charuvi uses painting and drawing to study the architectural world around him and reveal the traces of politics and history while reflecting on his own nationality and identity. While working from documents that seek to deliver an objective view of the ruins of Palestine, the artist wants to share his subjective point of view through a personal pictorial technique full of empathy where expressive brushstrokes are applied with emphasis in attractive color combinations.
