Thus, Clement transforms his industrial material into a whimsical and monumental line drawing in space. These sculptures appear to defy gravity as they swoop and swivel in the air. Endlessly devoted to the geometry of the arc and the massive, man-made steel, Clement refines them into something organic and whimsical, yet grounded both physically and traditionally.
