From the Memento Vivere series, this work is made with four hands between the artist and the artist's deceased grandfather.
Towards the end of his life, PRAM (the pseudonym of the ancestor) painted watercolors and used leaves to test his colors. These stains, vestiges and traces of his work, are explored again by the artist who for the occasion took up the idea of his pseudonym by calling himself PRAG (the initials of his first names and his surname, like his grandfather)
The result is a hybrid, abstract work, evoking the memory of a work that has disappeared but has been renewed by Guillaume Piot's new practice.

This captivating work presents a complex arrangement of geometric patterns and organic shapes. The background is dominated by herringbone patterns, crossed in black and white, creating a dynamic visual structure. The organic forms, in tones of soft green and beige, float above this geometric network, bringing a natural dimension that contrasts harmoniously with the rigor of the lines. The touches of green evoke the freshness of nature, while the shades of beige add warmth and balance. This juxtaposition of rigid and fluid forms evokes a tension between the natural and the constructed, while inviting the viewer to explore hidden rhythms. The artist manages to captivate the eye and leave a lasting impression through his bold integration of patterns and colors.

A bestiary of today Sacred zoo, that of Guillaume Piot who transforms politicians, faceless but recognizable, into kings of a jungle that could well represent the French! A sharp-looking draftsman, Guillaume Piot did not choose zoomorphy to portray these animals that are politicians: don't we compare them to elephants when they advance in a monolithic herd, to old foxes when cunning competes with cynicism or even with monkeys when they make fun of the world? And finally, aren't we the spectators of a sort of cattle fair when it comes to choosing the one with the best teeth to bite into France or the most beautiful panache to seduce her? A past master in animal iconography, Guillaume Piot revisits the bestiaries of yesteryear in his own way. His pencil is delicate but often biting like those pitbulls and gorillas who crowd around Marine Le Pen. And what about these vultures who frame François Fillon while the geese sound the alarm against the attackers? Surrounded by a composite courtyard, bears, giraffes, camels, Emmanuel Macron clenches his fists while Jean-Luc Mélenchon reenacts freedom guiding the people in the midst of goats and sheep. Arnaud Montebourg, him, tries to compete with a peacock making the wheel ... as for François Hollande, alone in his palace, he tries to make himself a rhinoceros leather ... and all the others are to be discovered, smile on the lips, thought in mind. These politicians have no face, but they have a name thanks to these "nice animals" who surround them to offer them a little of their mind.
