Acrylic on linen canvas.

Moon Kiss I is a work from the Sweet Dreams series, it is one of the variations of the imaginary profile created by the artist. A play of shadows during a conversation with the moon.

“Sweet Dreams” is the variation of an imaginary profile. The contours of this shape were drawn by trying to bring together, in a single line, all the peoples of the Earth. A line inspired by philosophical thoughts on humanism and universalism. The idea that all humans are the same but otherwise, idem sed aliter, all linked to each other and to nature. And on the path to creativity, the South African philosophy Ubuntu arrived like a lantern, a guide. The top of the skull from the profile has been removed in order to let out any parasitic ideas that could prevent the mind from believing in a natural feeling of universalism. Initially, the artist's desire was to create a serial and universal motif, identifiable throughout the world. Spread out, like a chain, a whole series of similar profiles in order to expose the industrial side of our civilization. Denounce the dehumanization and robotic aspect of men and women in our society: looking alike in order to understand and unite, while cultivating our difference and accepting ourselves as we are, would be a force for the evolution of society. 'spirit. This profile is therefore a message of hope, the plastic and poetic translation of a sweet dream sent into our universe.
