Roda - duo of French artists.

Work in France and Belgium.

Studio Roda is the meeting between two men, a designer and an artist, two longtime friends who decided to merge their creativity and know-how after 15 years of respective careers.

From reflections on architectural tensions, balance and gravity, to research on volume and line, Studio Roda's sculptures encourage reflection on these major axes. More recently, the Studio has included a new notion in their work: light and its refraction on these materials and volumes.

The form is not defined but in perpetual evolution around abstractions referring to geometry in the history of art, in particular to the big names in contemporary sculpture like Antony Gormley and Anish Kapoor.

This research is very minimalist, it revolves mainly around the line, movement and volumes of sculptures but also future installations, always focused on the search for occupation of space.
