Biography

Anaïs Oudart, a Paris-based photographer, trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux before perfecting her studio skills with major figures in fashion and advertising photography such as Jean-Baptiste Mondino and Jean-Paul Goude. A committed portraitist, she also works in the humanitarian and social fields. Winner of numerous awards, including the Caritas Prize for Social Photography in 2023, her work has been included in the collections of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

For several years, Anaïs Oudart has devoted her attention to violence against women. Her work is part of long-term cycles. portrays young girls who have been through Child Welfare, revealing the strength of their resilient journeys. bears witness to rape as a weapon of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo; this documentary work was supported by the CNAP in 2022 and awarded the Fuji Prize "Women on Display" in 2024. For , the artist presents a selection of photographs from these two collections.
