Biography
Boshra Coste is a French artist born in 1983.
When she was little, she used to draw on fabric and leather in her father's garment factory, so it was only natural that when she began painting she would chose leather as a support.
On her plain backgrounds, she creates complex figures made with a subtle combination of color keys imprinted with elaborate details in the same style as the work of Henri Matisse.
Fascinated by liturgical art and mythology she overlaps bodies and colors, intertwining straight lines and curves. Her colourful frescoes embody the fusion of her dual heritage; Western and Eastern.
