Presentation

Claudine is a French painter, originally from Normandy. From the age of 14, she took the Beaux-Arts classes in Le Havre and then began studying plastic arts in Rouen.

Very dynamic, she exhibited several times in France and abroad. His works are presented in public collections: at the Museum of Magog, at the Museum of Spontaneous Art in Quebec, at the Daubigny Museum in Brussels.

His work as a painter is part of the movements of naive art and singular art.

His technique is a mixture on canvas, on paper or on wood by combining collages, India ink, acrylic, markers and colored pencils.

His very singular portraits recall the style of Chagall, undisputed master of color with his dreamlike and poetic canvases.

Strongly inspired by literature, Claudine does not hesitate to integrate texts or cut pages into her works.
