Presentation
Born in Montpellier, Camille Shabestari developed a passion for photography very early on, and followed an audiovisual course at EFET, Paris, from which she graduated (European Bachelor) in 2016.
She is a photographer's assistant and develops a sensitivity for the form of the report following a working session in Nepal in 2016.
She sees photography as an extension of her gaze, a tool that allows her to testify, take part in the world, and understand it better. Her recent projects touch on her origins, the past, and lived emotions that she transforms into stories. She evokes her personal story and touches the subject as closely as possible while seeking to maintain a distance of respect.
