Jean-Pierre Blanpain was born in Mamers, in Sarthe.
Contact painter warm, this passionate about small stories and colors takes the brush to make tender portraits.
He also takes the pen for compose poems or texts. Suddenly, despite himself, he is also author-illustrator for young people and for old people who never cease to be kids. He alone achieved a
good twenty books, small funny and very crafts that he entirely shapes in 30 or 500 copies distributed in French, Belgian and Swiss bookstores.
