Artist, born in 1960 in France. He graduated from the University of Paris1-Sorbonne Center Saint-Charles in Plastic Arts option Letters. He exhibits regularly since 1992. He lives in Vitry sur Seine, lives and works everywhere. He is associate professor at the University of Paris 8 Vincennes / Saint-Denis in the Photography and Contemporary Art department.
The situations and conditions of the world of work, be it people, objects, spaces or landscapes, are his favorite subjects. The distortion of stereotypes of representation of the world of work and human activity constructs images in which the subject is displaced, shifted, deactivated from its function. He redefines the singular identity of this subject, not necessarily human, so that it occupies a different place than that imposed on it. His artistic practice is multiple. He uses photography, video, drawing, moving machines, transforming tools, installing.
