Presentation

Born in 1977 in Reims, Baudoin is an independent photographer who has been working since 2002 for the French press, which plebiscites his off-the-wall portraits.

His photos are unique, they stage subjects in a familiar environment, often in their own apartment. Whether these are known or unknown people, the character of these figures is obvious as it's intensified by the artist. Loyal to his silver film camera, Hasselblad, he uses images in 6 x 6 square format, lighting, composition and a constant craziness while staging.

His masters are Martin Parr, Henri Cartier Bresson not to mention Eliott Erwitt, but the artist is truly influenced the rock'n'roll underground world.

His work on Parisian women began in 2006, it was part of an exhibition and published by Clémentine de la Féronnière.
