François - Jérôme Bringuier

Born in 1965, I grew up in an environment in which Art occupies a large place.

After my law studies, I traveled to England and the United States. Back in my native Cévennes, a "vibratory" encounter with raw materials triggered a passion and I specialized in dry stone walls while following a psychoanalysis with Professor Claude Guy Bruère Dawson, once the right arm of Jacques Lacan .

This bond creates with my ancestors, builders and the unconscious always nourishes my work. At the same time I started to paint on various supports with natural pigments, safflower oil and citrus peel essence.

My semi-abstract landscapes often represent a world in which humans have disappeared. This devastated world is being rebuilt little by little, heals its wounds and finds a certain harmony and musicality.
