Maria Expósito Santiso

María Expósito Santiso (mesantiso) was born in Madrid in 1979. She studied at the Escuela Superior de Restauración y Conservación de Bienes Culturales, Madrid. In 1998, she entered the engraving and lithography studio in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, where she now works as a teacher. In order to improve her training in the world of graphic design, she participated in various workshops such as Real Casa de la Moneda, Madrid; Circle of Fine Arts taught by Antonio Gayo; CIEC Foundation (Betanzos); Antonio Saura engraving workshops (Fuendetodos) ...

Since 2004, she has had her own printing and lithographic publishing workshop, where she combines her artistic and printing side with teaching. In 2008, he received the Pilar Juncosa scholarship for training, experimentation and creation in the Joan Miró graphic workshops. The 14th International Prize for Engraving “Villa de Cebreros. El Quexigal ”; Honorable mention XIII Prize for contemporary engraving from the Directorate-General for Women; finalist XXI Manuel Viola Fast Painting Prize.
