Berk Arikan is a Turkish painter born in 1991. He studied at the School of Fine Arts, and then at the faculty of painting of the Andalusia University from which he graduted in 2014. He lives and works in Eskisehir, Turkey.
His work is part of the figurative world. In this universe, female portraits are the main source of inspiration of the artist. His portraits are journeys that transport us to sort of mysterous places, according to the inpiration of the artist.
Berk Arikan is represented by Turkish and French galleries. He won the Young Artist Award at the International Festival of Plastic Arts of Tunisia in Monastir, 2013. He also participated at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Paris in 2016.
