Yannick Bouillault's studio is located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in western France. It is in the face of this vast expanse that he has forged a close connection with creation since a young age. Trained in boilermaking, he first worked as a technician before devoting himself fully to sculpture in 2016, driven by a spontaneous and visceral impulse.

Passionate about materials—mainly steel—and fueled by philosophy, Yannick Bouillault strives to reveal the hidden beauty of metal. With his technical mastery, he transforms this raw, cold material into a vehicle for emotion. Each work is born from a dialogue between reflection and feeling, between tension and calm.

Curious about phenomena and attentive to the energy of the world, he draws inspiration from both movement and absence, from the visible and the invisible. In his work, realism and surrealism intertwine to give birth to sculptures that are both powerful and sensitive. Playing with shapes and colors, he gives metal an unexpected lightness, sometimes even a poetic grace.

A self-taught sculptor, Yannick Bouillault has established himself as a unique voice in contemporary metal. His works, exhibited in France and abroad, now travel the world, driven by a universal emotion.

All of the artist's sculptures are designed and crafted entirely by him. Each piece comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
