Biography
Pete is an artist from the Philippines and one of the few Filipino sculptors to consistently explore scrap metal as a medium, transforming old junk into art with wit and humor. New arrangements of objects bring new meaning.
Pete has received many awards in the Philippines and he is regularly shown locally and internationally. His work HINDI KEVLAR (Not Kevlar), an art installation of used military helmets numbering more than 300, was featured in the first Manila Biennale in 2018.
